Job Description

The Spot Sports Bar & Grill is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team in May Pen. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with established recipes and portion control guidelines.
- Engage with customers in a friendly, professional, and timely manner, taking orders and providing recommendations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar area, including glassware, garnishes, and inventory.
- Process payments accurately using POS systems and handle cash transactions efficiently.
- Monitor customer alcohol consumption and ensure responsible service, adhering to all legal requirements.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures, including restocking, cleaning, and securing the bar.
- Collaborate with kitchen and other front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service operations.
- Identify and address customer concerns promptly and professionally, escalating issues when necessary.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance mixology skills and product knowledge.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Bartender (minimum 2 years)
- Extensive knowledge of spirits, wine, beer, and classic cocktail recipes
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and active listening skills
- Proficiency in cash handling and POS systems
- High level of professionalism and a positive attitude
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs

- Certification from a reputable bartending school
