As an Experienced Hair Stylist at Mutsau, you will be responsible for a full range of hair services, from contemporary cuts and intricate styling to expert coloring, perms, and specialized treatments. Key Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of hair services including cutting, styling, coloring (highlights, lowlights, full color), perms, and various hair treatments.
- Conduct thorough client consultations to assess hair condition, discuss desired outcomes, and provide expert recommendations.
- Maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized workstation and salon area in accordance with health and safety standards.
- Stay updated on current hair trends, techniques, and product knowledge through ongoing education and training.
- Recommend and sell retail hair care products to clients, educating them on product benefits and usage.
- Manage client appointments efficiently and accurately.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring repeat business and positive referrals.
- Actively participate in salon meetings and contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.
- Assist with other salon duties as needed, including answering phones and processing payments.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Hair Stylist (minimum 2 years).
- Proficiency in a variety of cutting, styling, and coloring techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer service orientation and ability to build rapport.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- Knowledge of hair care products and treatments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant cosmetology diploma or certification.
