Job Description
Are you a visionary UI/UX Designer with a profound passion for crafting intuitive and delightful digital experiences? Medine Limited is seeking an Experienced UI/UX Designer to join our dynamic and forward-thinking team in Chamarel, nestled within the picturesque Black River District. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in shaping the user experience across our diverse range of digital platforms. Your work will span sophisticated websites for our hospitality and property ventures, innovative applications supporting our burgeoning smart city initiatives and educational institutions, and internal tools that streamline our operations. Your core responsibilities will include translating complex user needs and intricate business requirements into elegant, user-friendly, and highly effective designs. This involves conducting thorough user research, developing comprehensive user personas, creating compelling customer journey maps, defining clear information architecture, and building detailed sitemaps. You will be responsible for producing both low-fidelity wireframes and high-fidelity interactive prototypes that effectively communicate design solutions. Your expertise will guide the visual design process, ensuring not only strict adherence to our robust brand guidelines but also pushing the boundaries of usability and aesthetic appeal to set new industry standards. You will meticulously plan and execute usability testing sessions, gather insightful feedback, and iterate on designs with a data-driven approach to deliver optimal and impactful solutions. Collaboration is at the heart of our design process; you will work closely with product managers, front-end and back-end developers, marketing specialists, and other cross-functional stakeholders throughout the entire product development lifecycle. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive user research, usability testing, and analysis to identify user needs, pain points, and opportunities.
- Develop detailed user personas, customer journey maps, information architecture, and user flows.
- Create intuitive wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes (from low-fidelity to high-fidelity) for various digital products.
- Design aesthetically pleasing and functional user interfaces that align with brand guidelines and industry best practices.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and marketing teams throughout the entire product development lifecycle.
- Iterate on designs based on user feedback, usability testing results, and analytical data to continuously improve user experience.
- Maintain and evolve design systems and style guides to ensure consistency and efficiency across all digital platforms.
- Stay abreast of the latest UI/UX trends, tools, and technologies to bring innovative solutions to the team.
- Present and clearly justify design decisions and concepts to internal stakeholders and team members.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in leading design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD).
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, usability, and accessibility standards.
- Demonstrable experience with responsive web design and mobile-first approaches.
- Excellent visual design skills with a keen eye for typography, color, layout, and iconography.
- Ability to create engaging user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity interactive prototypes.
- Solid communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
- A strong online portfolio showcasing a range of UI/UX design projects and your design process.
- Experience with design systems and component libraries.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Graphic Design, Web Design, or a related field.
- Experience in the hospitality, real estate, or education sectors.
- Familiarity with front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to better understand technical constraints and possibilities.
- Experience with animation or motion design for UI elements.
