Career.zycto is actively seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Export Coordinator to join our dynamic team in Kröllwitz, Halle. In this pivotal full-time role, you will be instrumental in managing the end-to-end export process, ensuring the smooth and compliant movement of goods across international borders. You will serve as the crucial link between our sales, production, logistics partners, and customs authorities, ensuring all documentation is accurate, shipments are timely, and regulatory requirements are met without fail.

You will be responsible for preparing and processing all necessary export documentation, coordinating with freight forwarders, tracking shipments, and communicating effectively with internal stakeholders and external clients regarding shipment status. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate all aspects of the export process from order placement to delivery, ensuring timely and cost-effective shipments.
  • Prepare, review, and process all required export documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, bills of lading, and export declarations.
  • Ensure strict compliance with international trade regulations, customs laws, and company policies for all export activities.
  • Liaise effectively with freight forwarders, carriers, customs brokers, and other logistics partners to arrange optimal shipping solutions.
  • Track and monitor international shipments, providing regular updates to internal teams and external customers on shipment status.
  • Resolve any issues or discrepancies that arise during the export process, such as customs delays, documentation errors, or transit problems.
  • Maintain accurate records of all export transactions and documentation in the company's ERP system.
  • Communicate proactively with sales, production, and warehouse teams to ensure alignment and smooth execution of export orders.
  • Stay informed about changes in international trade regulations, customs requirements, and shipping best practices.
  • Assist in optimizing export procedures and identifying areas for process improvement.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience as an Export Coordinator or in a similar international logistics role (minimum 2 years).
  • Solid understanding of international shipping procedures, incoterms, and customs regulations.
  • Proficiency in preparing export documentation (e.g., invoices, packing lists, B/Ls, COOs).
  • Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English and German.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and experience with ERP systems.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Business, or a related field.
  • Experience with specific customs software or trade compliance platforms.
  • Knowledge of export controls and sanctions regulations.
  • Additional language proficiency (e.g., French, Spanish, Mandarin).
  • Certification in International Logistics or Customs Brokerage.
