Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine inspections of facilities to identify and address maintenance needs promptly.
  • Conduct minor repairs on plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems (e.g., changing bulbs, fixing leaks, unclogging drains) as required.
  • Execute general upkeep tasks, including painting, carpentry, and basic grounds maintenance to ensure aesthetic appeal and functionality.
  • Ensure cleanliness and tidiness of all interior and exterior areas, including offices, restrooms, common spaces, and walkways.
  • Assist with the setup and dismantling of equipment or furniture for internal events, meetings, and office rearrangements.
  • Monitor and report any major issues requiring external professional assistance to the facility manager or relevant department.
  • Manage waste disposal and recycling programs effectively, adhering to environmental guidelines and company policies.
  • Respond efficiently to urgent maintenance requests and emergencies, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.

Required Skills

  • Proven ability to perform basic electrical and plumbing repairs and maintenance.
  • Proficiency in general cleaning and maintenance practices, including the use of cleaning agents and equipment.
  • Strong practical problem-solving skills with an ability to diagnose and fix common facility issues.
  • Ability to operate basic hand and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Good physical stamina and ability to lift moderately heavy objects, stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.

  • Basic literacy for understanding instructions, safety manuals, and completing simple reports.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience of at least 1-2 years in a similar facility management or maintenance role.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices in a facility environment.
