Key Responsibilities
- Assist machine operators in setting up, operating, and monitoring production machinery according to standard operating procedures.
- Load and unload raw materials and finished products onto production lines, ensuring proper placement, handling, and adherence to safety guidelines.
- Perform routine quality checks on materials and products at various stages of production, reporting any defects or inconsistencies immediately.
- Transport materials and finished goods within the factory using appropriate equipment such as trolleys and manual pallet jacks, following designated routes.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, adhering strictly to all factory hygiene and safety standards and protocols.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), to ensure a secure working environment for yourself and colleagues.
- Package finished products according to precise specifications, ensuring accurate labeling, proper sealing, and safe storage.
- Support inventory management by assisting with material counting, stock rotation, and reporting stock levels as required.
- Collaborate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other departments to achieve daily production targets and operational goals.
- Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the supervisor to support overall factory operations and maintain efficiency.
Required Skills
- Ability to understand and accurately follow verbal and written instructions.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills for reading labels and counting items.
- Good physical stamina and the ability to lift and move materials (within safety guidelines) for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and a steadfast commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
