Key Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning and sanitization of factory floors, machinery, equipment, and workstations.
- Sweep, mop, scrub, and vacuum all designated areas thoroughly.
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste in appropriate containers, following waste management guidelines.
- Clean and maintain washrooms, break rooms, and other common areas to high sanitary standards.
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of cleaning chemicals and equipment, adhering to safety data sheets (SDS).
- Report any maintenance needs, equipment malfunctions, or safety hazards to supervisors promptly.
- Adhere to all company safety protocols, cleaning procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Support waste segregation and recycling initiatives to promote environmental sustainability.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management of low stock levels to ensure continuous operation.
Required Skills
- Strong work ethic and high level of reliability.
- Ability to follow instructions meticulously and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to thoroughness.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks, stand for long periods, and lift moderate weights (up to 25 lbs).
