Key Responsibilities
- Operate, monitor, and maintain production line machinery and equipment according to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Conduct routine quality checks on products during various stages of production to ensure adherence to specifications.
- Load and unload materials onto the production line, ensuring a continuous flow of operations.
- Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and report complex malfunctions to supervisors for immediate resolution.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations, company policies, and good manufacturing practices (GMP).
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to prevent hazards and promote efficiency.
- Record production data, including output, downtime, and quality control metrics, accurately and promptly.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to optimize production processes and resolve operational challenges.
- Perform changeovers and set-ups for different product runs as required.
- Participate in training sessions for new equipment, safety procedures, and product specifications.
- Identify and report any potential defects or inconsistencies in raw materials or finished products.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a factory line operator or in a similar manufacturing role.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to operate production machinery safely and efficiently.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions meticulously.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical stamina and ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects (up to 25kg), and perform repetitive tasks.
- Basic understanding of manufacturing safety protocols.
- Problem-solving skills for minor operational issues.
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent; technical certification or vocational training is a plus.
- Experience in a specific industry relevant to the client (e.g., FMCG, plastics, textiles).
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or 5S principles.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals or blueprints.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications for data entry.
