Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior technicians and operators with the setup and calibration of manufacturing machinery and equipment.
- Learn and apply standard operating procedures (SOPs) for machine preparation and initial adjustments.
- Monitor machine performance during initial runs, identifying and reporting any anomalies or issues.
- Perform basic preventative maintenance tasks as instructed, such as cleaning and lubrication.
- Help load raw materials into machines and remove finished products.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering strictly to 5S principles.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures, wearing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Accurately complete production and maintenance logs, documenting activities as required.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure seamless shift transitions and production continuity.
- Actively participate in training sessions to enhance technical knowledge and skills.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Basic mechanical aptitude and eagerness to learn about machinery
