Key Responsibilities

  • Perform various manual labor tasks including planting, weeding, pruning, irrigating, and harvesting crops.
  • Operate and maintain basic farm equipment and tools safely and effectively.
  • Prepare fields and growing areas, including soil amendment and bed preparation.
  • Monitor crop health, identify pests and diseases, and report observations to supervisors.
  • Assist with post-harvest activities such as cleaning, sorting, grading, and packaging produce.
  • Adhere strictly to food safety and quality control standards during all stages of production.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of farm facilities, storage areas, and equipment.
  • Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to achieve daily production goals and deadlines.
  • Assist with general farm maintenance and minor repairs as needed, contributing to the overall upkeep of the farm.
