Key Responsibilities
- Perform general farm duties including planting, weeding, irrigating, pruning, and harvesting crops.
- Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment (e.g., tractors, tillers, hand tools) safely and efficiently.
- Monitor crop health, identify pests and diseases, and apply organic pest control methods.
- Assist with soil preparation, fertilization, and composting to maintain soil fertility.
- Participate in post-harvest activities such as cleaning, sorting, packing, and preparing produce for market.
- Maintain farm infrastructure, including fences, irrigation systems, and farm buildings.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and organic farming standards.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and follow instructions from farm management.
- Contribute to a positive and respectful work environment.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform strenuous physical labor for extended periods in various weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new farming techniques and practices.
