Key Responsibilities
- Assist with planting, cultivating, and harvesting various crops (e.g., berries, vegetables, field crops).
- Perform general farm maintenance tasks including fencing repairs, building upkeep, and landscape management.
- Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment such as tractors, tillers, and irrigation systems safely and efficiently.
- Care for livestock, which may include feeding, watering, cleaning pens, and monitoring animal health.
- Participate in irrigation setup, monitoring, and repair, ensuring crops receive adequate water.
- Assist with pest and weed control measures, following safety protocols for chemical application when required.
- Load and unload agricultural products and supplies, ensuring proper handling and storage.
- Conduct routine checks and basic repairs on farm equipment to minimize downtime.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment across all farm areas.
- Adhere strictly to all farm safety guidelines and procedures.
Required Skills
- Proven physical stamina and ability to perform strenuous tasks outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Basic understanding of farming principles or a strong willingness to learn.
- Ability to operate small hand tools and power tools effectively.
