Job Description
Career.zycto is on the lookout for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Fashion Production Assistant to join our growing team in Nhaconjo, Beira. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in coordinating all stages of garment production, from sample development to bulk manufacturing.
- Monitor production timelines and critical paths to ensure on-time delivery of collections.
- Liaise daily with local and international factories, suppliers, and internal teams to resolve production issues.
- Support the sourcing and procurement of fabrics, trims, and other raw materials, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Conduct quality control checks at various stages of production to maintain brand standards.
- Maintain accurate production records, including sample logs, order sheets, and material inventories.
- Prepare and update technical packs, ensuring all specifications are clearly communicated to manufacturers.
- Assist with sample management, including tracking, organizing, and distributing samples for fittings and approvals.
- Help research new production techniques, sustainable materials, and potential suppliers.
- Contribute to problem-solving and process improvement initiatives within the production department.
Required Skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills.

- Knowledge of local Mozambican textile and manufacturing landscape.
- Proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop) is a plus.
- Ability to communicate in Portuguese.
