Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service and personalized styling advice to clients.
- Actively engage with customers to understand their needs and guide them through product selections.
- Achieve individual and team sales targets and key performance indicators.
- Maintain an organized, clean, and visually appealing sales floor, including merchandising displays and product arrangements.
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving, tagging, stocking merchandise, and conducting regular stock counts.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for accurate transaction processing and handle cash/card payments responsibly.
- Stay up-to-date with current fashion trends, product knowledge, and brand promotions to effectively communicate with customers.
- Build lasting customer relationships, fostering brand loyalty through excellent service and follow-up.
- Support store opening and closing procedures, ensuring readiness for business operations.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth store operations and a positive work environment.
- Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and manage returns/exchanges professionally and courteously.
Required Skills
- Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service in a retail or service-oriented environment.
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with diverse customers.
- Basic mathematical proficiency for cash handling and transaction processing.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays, as retail schedules demand.
- Genuine enthusiasm for fashion, current trends, and styling.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights (e.g., product boxes) when stocking.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in fashion retail or a customer-facing sales role (6+ months preferred).
- Knowledge of visual merchandising principles and store presentation.
- Experience with Point of Sale (POS) systems and inventory management software.
- Secondary School Certificate (SSCE) or equivalent qualification.
