Key Responsibilities
- Achieve individual and team sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Provide exceptional, personalized customer service, including styling advice and product recommendations.
- Maintain high standards of visual merchandising, ensuring the store is aesthetically pleasing and well-organized.
- Accurately process sales transactions using the Point-of-Sale (POS) system.
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving, ticketing, and replenishing stock.
- Handle customer inquiries, returns, and exchanges efficiently and courteously.
- Stay updated on current fashion trends, product knowledge, and competitor activities.
- Build and nurture lasting relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and loyalty.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 1 year of proven sales experience, preferably in fashion retail.
- Excellent communication and active listening skills.
- Strong customer service orientation with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Basic understanding of fashion trends, styling techniques, and garment care.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and peak retail periods.
- Proficiency in using Point-of-Sale (POS) systems and basic computer applications.
- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
Preferred Qualifications
- OND/HND/BSc in Fashion, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience in a boutique or luxury retail setting.
- Fluency in additional local Nigerian languages (e.g., Yoruba, Igbo, Hausa).
- Experience with visual merchandising or store layout optimization.
