Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service and foster a welcoming atmosphere for all clients.
  • Engage with customers to understand their style preferences and provide personalized fashion advice and product recommendations.
  • Achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets and key performance indicators.
  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of current fashion trends, product features, and inventory.
  • Assist with merchandising, visual displays, and maintaining store cleanliness and organization.
  • Process sales transactions accurately using point-of-sale (POS) systems.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships, encouraging repeat business and loyalty.
  • Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally and efficiently.
  • Participate in inventory management tasks, including stock counts, replenishment, and tagging.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in retail sales, preferably within the fashion or luxury goods sector.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong customer service orientation with a proactive and friendly approach.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Solid understanding of sales principles and customer engagement techniques.
  • Proficiency in using point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic computer skills.
  • A genuine passion for fashion, an keen eye for style, and an understanding of current trends.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and public holidays as required by retail operations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • OND/HND or Bachelor’s degree in Fashion, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Prior experience with visual merchandising and store display execution.
  • Multilingual ability (e.g., English, Yoruba, Igbo) to effectively serve a diverse clientele.
  • An existing network of fashion-conscious clientele or a strong social media presence related to fashion.
  • Experience in personal styling or fashion consulting.
