Key Responsibilities
- Install diverse fencing types: wood, vinyl, chain link, and ornamental, adhering to design specifications.
- Prepare job sites: clear debris, dig post holes, and accurately measure and mark layouts.
- Safely operate hand and power tools common to fencing installation (e.g., post-hole diggers, drills, levels).
- Mix and pour concrete for stable and secure fence post installation.
- Handle and transport materials safely and efficiently to worksites.
- Inspect completed installations for quality, stability, and compliance with specifications and safety standards.
- Communicate effectively with team members, project managers, and clients to ensure smooth project execution.
- Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working order and reporting any malfunctions promptly.
- Strictly adhere to all company safety policies, procedures, and relevant building codes and regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing any client concerns professionally and courteously.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Fencing Installer or in a similar construction role.
- Proficiency in operating hand and power tools common to fencing installation.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work orders accurately.
- Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) and work in various weather conditions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Basic understanding of construction site safety practices and protocols.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience with specialized fencing types (e.g., automated gates, custom designs).
- Vocational training or certification in construction, carpentry, or a related skilled trade.
- Experience operating small machinery (e.g., skid steers, mini excavators).
- First Aid and/or CPR certification.
- Proficiency in German language (B1 level or higher) for enhanced team and client communication.
