Key Responsibilities
- Prepare work sites by clearing obstacles, excavating post holes, and ensuring proper grading.
- Accurately measure and mark out fence lines, ensuring compliance with specifications and local regulations.
- Install various types of fencing materials including wood, vinyl, chain-link, aluminum, and specialty fences.
- Cut and shape materials as needed, using a variety of hand and power tools.
- Mix and pour concrete for fence post foundations.
- Assemble and install gates, latches, and other fence hardware.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and company guidelines at all times.
- Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and clients.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working order.
- Ensure high-quality finishes and client satisfaction on every project.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Fencing Installer or similar construction role.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools common to fencing installation (e.g., post-hole diggers, drills, saws, levels).
- Strong understanding of various fencing materials and installation techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints or design specifications.
- Excellent measurement and mathematical skills.
