Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the creative development and artistic direction for assigned short film and media projects.
  • Oversee pre-production stages including script analysis, storyboarding, casting, and location scouting.
  • Direct on-set production, guiding performances and technical execution to match the creative vision.
  • Collaborate closely with cinematographers, sound designers, and editors during post-production to achieve final polish.
  • Manage project timelines and resources effectively, ensuring high-quality output within deadlines.
  • Provide constructive feedback and mentorship to junior crew members (if applicable).
  • Actively contribute to conceptualization and ideation for new projects and storytelling opportunities.

Required Skills

  • Currently enrolled in a film studies, media production, or related program.
  • Strong passion for filmmaking and compelling storytelling.
  • Foundational understanding of film theory, visual language, and narrative structure.
