Key Responsibilities

  • Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accurate coding and timely payments/collections.
  • Prepare and process invoices, expense reports, and cash receipts with precision.
  • Assist with bank reconciliations, general ledger entries, and other month-end closing procedures.
  • Support payroll processing activities, including accurate data entry and verification.
  • Maintain organized and accessible financial records, both physical and digital, in compliance with company policies.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to vendor and client inquiries regarding financial matters.
  • Assist in the preparation of various financial reports and statements as needed by management.
  • Ensure strict compliance with company financial policies and accounting standards.
  • Perform extensive data entry for financial transactions with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency.
  • Collaborate effectively with other departments to investigate and resolve financial discrepancies.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the accounting department.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience (minimum 2 years) in a finance or accounting support role.
  • Strong understanding of basic accounting principles, practices, and financial record-keeping.
  • Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle Financials) or similar ERP systems.
  • Excellent data entry skills coupled with a high degree of accuracy and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (formulas, pivot tables, data analysis).
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential financial information with utmost discretion.
  • Strong organizational abilities, time management skills, and capacity to prioritize tasks effectively.
