As a Finance Data Review Assistant, you will play a vital role in our finance department’s operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities
- Perform detailed reviews of financial data, transactions, and reports to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Identify and investigate discrepancies or inconsistencies in financial records and escalate issues as necessary.
- Assist with the reconciliation of accounts, ledgers, and statements.
- Ensure adherence to internal financial policies, procedures, and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Maintain organized and accessible financial documentation, both physical and digital.
- Support the finance team with data entry, record-keeping, and general administrative tasks.
- Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary information and resolve data-related queries.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of data review processes and internal controls.
- Generate basic financial summaries or reports as requested.
Required Skills
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a data entry, administrative, or finance-related support role.
- Proven proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (data manipulation, VLOOKUP, pivot tables).
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Preferred Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
