Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive annual budgets and long-range financial forecasts.
- Formulate and enforce robust financial policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and internal governance.
- Provide strategic financial leadership and expert advice to the executive team and board on all budgetary and policy matters.
- Lead and mentor the finance department, fostering a high-performance culture and professional development.
- Oversee financial analysis, reporting, and modelling to support strategic decision-making and operational improvements.
- Manage financial risks, implement control measures, and ensure the integrity of financial data.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to align financial strategies with organisational objectives and departmental needs.
- Present financial performance and policy recommendations to internal and external stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement in financial systems, processes, and controls.
Required Skills
- CPA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent professional accounting qualification.
- Minimum of 10-12 years of progressive experience in finance roles, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership/director position.
- Proven expertise in budget development, financial forecasting, and strategic planning.
- In-depth knowledge of financial regulations, accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, UK GAAP), and corporate governance.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with a track record of developing talent.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in financial management software and advanced Excel modelling.
