Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all aspects of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes.
- Develop and maintain complex financial models to support strategic decision-making and business growth initiatives.
- Prepare comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, analyses, and management reports.
- Conduct in-depth variance analysis, identifying key drivers and providing actionable insights to optimize performance.
- Manage cash flow, working capital, and treasury functions to ensure optimal liquidity and financial stability.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations, accounting standards (GAAP), and internal policies.
- Collaborate with department heads to develop and monitor departmental budgets, fostering financial accountability.
- Identify and implement process improvements within the finance function to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Assist in strategic planning efforts by providing financial data, projections, and risk assessments.
- Participate in ad-hoc financial projects and analyses as required by senior management.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive experience in finance or accounting roles, with at least 2 years in a management capacity
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (financial modeling, pivot tables, VLOOKUPs)
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite)
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities
- Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
- CPA or CMA certification
- Master of Business Administration (MBA) or Master's in Finance
- Experience with business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
- Previous experience managing remote teams or operating in a fully remote capacity
