Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports, adhering to GAAP standards.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, monitoring performance against these financial plans.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal financial regulations and tax requirements.
  • Conduct comprehensive financial analysis, provide actionable insights, and make recommendations to management regarding financial performance and operational efficiency.
  • Develop and implement robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure data integrity across all financial systems.
  • Coordinate and support external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations to ensure a smooth and successful process.
  • Process payroll, manage employee expense reports, and administer benefits programs in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Maintain organized financial records and documentation, ensuring audit readiness at all times and facilitating easy retrieval of information.
  • Collaborate effectively with other departments to ensure financial processes are integrated, efficient, and support overall business objectives.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in an accounting or finance role.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle Financials) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Strong understanding and practical application of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in all financial documentation and reporting.
