Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver comprehensive first aid courses to diverse groups, ensuring adherence to national and international guidelines.
- Demonstrate first aid techniques clearly and effectively, providing practical, hands-on instruction and feedback.
- Evaluate participant understanding and skill proficiency through practical assessments and theoretical examinations.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of first aid protocols, emergency procedures, and relevant legislation.
- Manage training materials and equipment, ensuring they are in good working order and readily available for sessions.
- Adapt teaching methods and content to suit the specific needs and learning styles of different audiences.
- Provide constructive feedback and encouragement to participants, fostering a positive and supportive learning environment.
- Complete necessary administrative tasks, including participant registration, record-keeping, and certification processes.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations during training sessions.
- Act as an ambassador for Career.zycto, promoting a culture of safety and preparedness.
Required Skills
- Valid First Aid Instructor certification (e.g., DRK, Johanniter, Malteser, DLRG, or equivalent)
- Proven experience in delivering first aid training to groups
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and motivate learners of all ages and backgrounds
- Thorough knowledge of current first aid principles, techniques, and emergency response procedures
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in German (C1 level or higher) and English (B2 level or higher)
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Patience, empathy, and a professional demeanor
Preferred Qualifications
- Additional certifications in specialized areas (e.g., Paediatric First Aid, Advanced Life Support)
- Experience working with diverse cultural backgrounds
- Previous experience in a casual or freelance training capacity
