Key Responsibilities
- Perform manual handling, sorting, scaling, gutting, and filleting of various fish species.
- Operate and maintain processing machinery and equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
- Ensure adherence to all food safety, hygiene, and quality control standards (HACCP principles).
- Monitor product quality and report any deviations or issues to supervisors immediately.
- Package, label, and prepare finished products for storage and distribution.
- Clean and sanitize work areas, tools, and equipment regularly to maintain a hygienic environment.
- Assist with loading and unloading of raw materials and finished products.
- Comply with all health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Work effectively as part of a team to meet production targets and deadlines.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in a physically demanding role, preferably in food production or a similar industrial setting.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks with precision and maintain focus for extended periods.
- Strong understanding and commitment to hygiene and food safety practices.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Physical stamina and strength to lift and move heavy items (up to 25 kg) and stand for long hours.
