Your day will involve a dynamic mix of member engagement, facility upkeep, and administrative support. You’ll greet members with a friendly smile, assist them with check-ins, answer inquiries about membership options, class schedules, and facility amenities. A keen eye for detail is essential, as you will be responsible for regular tours of the fitness floor, ensuring equipment is tidy, clean, and in good working order. This includes sanitizing machines, organizing weights, and maintaining a high standard of cleanliness across all areas, from the changing rooms to the workout zones.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet members and visitors warmly, providing exceptional customer service at all times.
  • Process member check-ins, handle new membership registrations, and manage general inquiries.
  • Conduct regular facility walkthroughs to ensure cleanliness, tidiness, and safety standards are met.
  • Clean and sanitize fitness equipment, organize weights, and maintain workout areas.
  • Assist members with basic equipment usage and direct them to appropriate fitness professionals when needed.
  • Monitor facility usage to ensure a safe and respectful environment for all members.
  • Restock supplies (towels, toiletries) and report any maintenance issues promptly.
  • Support with administrative tasks such as answering phones, scheduling appointments, and managing class bookings.
  • Promote various fitness programs, classes, and special events to members.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations and emergency procedures.
