Job Description

JTM – Transportes e Logística is seeking a motivated and dedicated Fleet Maintenance Helper to join our dynamic team in Muhala, Nampula. You’ll work alongside experienced mechanics, assisting them with various tasks, performing routine checks, maintaining a clean and organized workshop, and contributing to the overall efficiency and safety of our maintenance department. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist senior mechanics with vehicle inspections, repairs, and preventative maintenance tasks on trucks and trailers.
  • Perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks such as fluid checks, tire rotations, and minor component replacements under supervision.
  • Clean and organize the workshop area, tools, and equipment to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Help maintain accurate records of parts used and work performed on vehicles.
  • Transport parts and tools as needed for maintenance and repair jobs.
  • Learn and adhere to all safety protocols and procedures within the workshop.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles as directed.
  • Assist with inventory management of parts and supplies.
  • Communicate effectively with team members regarding progress and issues.
