Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the daily scheduling and dispatching of fleet vehicles and drivers, optimizing routes for efficiency.
- Monitor fleet movements and driver performance using telematics systems, addressing deviations promptly.
- Coordinate vehicle maintenance and repairs with internal teams and external service providers to minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of fleet data, including vehicle registrations, insurance, and service history.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant transportation regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
- Process and verify driver logs, expense reports, and other operational documentation.
- Generate regular reports on fleet utilization, fuel consumption, maintenance costs, and other key performance indicators.
- Act as a point of contact for drivers regarding operational queries, issues, or emergencies.
- Assist with inventory management of fleet-related supplies and equipment.
- Support the onboarding process for new drivers, including administrative tasks and initial orientation.
- Contribute to the identification and implementation of process improvements within fleet operations.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in an administrative or operational support role, preferably within logistics or transportation.
- Strong organizational skills with an exceptional eye for detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and comfortable with data entry.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and German.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
