Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the safety and security of all passengers throughout the flight, adhering strictly to airline and regulatory procedures.
- Conduct pre-flight safety checks, verify equipment functionality, and ensure the cabin is prepared for departure.
- Deliver exceptional in-flight customer service, including serving meals, beverages, and attending to passenger requests.
- Provide clear and concise safety briefings and demonstrations to passengers.
- Handle unexpected situations and emergencies with calm, professionalism, and according to established protocols.
- Administer first aid and provide care to passengers requiring medical attention.
- Manage in-flight sales of duty-free items and other products.
- Work collaboratively with the flight deck crew and other cabin crew members to ensure smooth operations.
- Complete all necessary pre-flight, in-flight, and post-flight documentation.
- Maintain a high standard of personal presentation and grooming at all times.
Required Skills
- Minimum 12 months experience in a customer service-oriented role (e.g., hospitality, retail, healthcare).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse individuals.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills under pressure.
- Fluent in English (both written and spoken); additional languages are highly advantageous.
- Ability to swim at least 25 metres unaided.
- Must meet strict height and reach requirements (e.g., able to reach 210cm without shoes).
- A valid passport with unrestricted travel capabilities.
- Flexibility to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and public holidays, and adapt to different time zones.
- Strong team player with a positive attitude and a professional demeanour.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Flight Attendant or in the aviation industry.
- Proficiency in additional languages relevant to international travel (e.g., French, German, Spanish, Arabic, Mandarin).
- A relevant degree or diploma in hospitality, tourism, or a related field.
- First Aid certification or similar medical training.
