Key Responsibilities
- Assist florists in preparing flowers and foliage for arrangements, including cutting, stripping, and conditioning.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the workshop, display areas, and storage spaces.
- Process incoming flower deliveries, ensuring proper handling, watering, and storage to maintain freshness.
- Prepare vases, containers, and floral foam for arrangements.
- Provide friendly and helpful customer service, assisting with inquiries and purchases.
- Help with merchandising and refreshing floral displays to keep the shop visually appealing.
- Assist with wrapping and packaging floral arrangements for delivery or customer pick-up.
- Support inventory management, including tracking flower stock and supplies.
- Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately when required.
- Assist with special event setups or larger projects as needed.
Required Skills
