Job Description

Career.zycto is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Food Packaging Aide to join our thriving team in Lumbo, Ilha de Moçambique. Key Responsibilities

  • Execute the precise packaging of food products according to established specifications and quality standards.
  • Inspect products for quality defects, damage, or inconsistencies before and during the packaging process.
  • Operate and monitor packaging machinery and equipment, ensuring efficient and safe functioning.
  • Apply accurate labels, dates, and other required information to packaged goods.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area, adhering strictly to food safety and hygiene protocols (HACCP, GMP).
  • Assist with the loading and unloading of raw materials and finished products as needed.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure production targets are met.
  • Monitor inventory levels of packaging materials and report shortages.
  • Follow all company policies and safety procedures to ensure a secure working environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall packaging and production operations.

Required Skills

  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and procedures accurately.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene principles.

  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 kg.
