Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of food and beverage items, including hot drinks, sandwiches, and snacks, adhering to company recipes and presentation standards.
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems, handle cash and card transactions accurately, and provide correct change.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in all food preparation and serving areas, including washing dishes, wiping surfaces, and ensuring equipment is spotless.
- Restock inventory, including food items, beverages, and supplies, ensuring products are always available and properly rotated.
- Provide friendly, efficient, and professional customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving issues with a positive attitude.
- Follow all health and safety regulations, including food handling and storage procedures, to ensure a safe environment for both staff and customers.
- Assist with opening and closing duties of the cafe, including setting up and tidying service areas.
