Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing product information and recommendations.
  • Process customer purchases accurately and efficiently using POS systems, handling cash and card transactions.
  • Restock shelves, display products attractively, and ensure proper rotation of perishable goods to minimize waste.
  • Monitor inventory levels, report stock discrepancies, and assist with receiving and unpacking deliveries.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the store, including display areas, aisles, and storage rooms.
  • Assist with merchandising efforts, creating engaging displays that highlight promotions and new arrivals.
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve minor complaints promptly and courteously, escalating complex issues when necessary.
  • Adhere strictly to food safety and hygiene regulations, ensuring all products are stored and handled correctly.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve daily sales targets and contribute to a positive team environment.
  • Perform opening and closing duties as required, including securing the premises and reconciling daily sales.

Required Skills

  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic numeracy and literacy for handling transactions and stock counts.
