Career.zycto is seeking a talented and passionate Freelance Events & Commercial Photographer to join our network of creative professionals in De La Vega City, Spanish Town. This is an exciting opportunity for a photographer with a keen eye for detail and a knack for storytelling through imagery. You will be instrumental in capturing the essence of various events, from corporate functions and social gatherings to product launches and editorial shoots, for our diverse clientele. Key Responsibilities
- Professionally photograph a variety of events, including corporate gatherings, private parties, and public functions, capturing key moments and candid shots.
- Execute commercial photography assignments such as product photography, architectural shoots, portraiture, and editorial content according to specific client briefs.
- Operate and maintain professional-grade camera equipment, lighting, and other photographic accessories.
- Perform post-production editing, including colour correction, retouching, and cropping, to deliver polished, high-resolution images within specified deadlines.
- Liaise directly with clients to understand their vision, expectations, and deliverable requirements.
- Manage project timelines, ensuring timely submission of edited photos.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and client satisfaction.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as an Events and/or Commercial Photographer (minimum 3 years).
- Exceptional proficiency with professional DSLR/mirrorless cameras, lenses, and external flash units.
- Advanced knowledge of photo editing software (e.g., Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop).
- Strong portfolio showcasing diverse photography styles and successful project execution.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet tight deadlines.
- Access to reliable transportation for on-site shoots in Spanish Town and surrounding areas.
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree or certification in Photography, Visual Arts, or a related field.
- Experience with studio lighting setups and complex commercial shoots.
- Familiarity with drone photography for aerial shots (advantageous).
- Established local network within the Spanish Town business and events community.
