Career.zycto is actively seeking talented and dedicated Freelance Project Translators to join our dynamic network. This remote, project-based role offers you the flexibility to work on diverse assignments, transforming content across various languages and subject matters for our growing client base. As a key linguistic partner, you will be instrumental in ensuring that messages resonate accurately and culturally appropriately with target audiences worldwide.

Key Responsibilities
- Translate a variety of content types, including marketing materials, technical documents, legal texts, and general communications, from source to target language with impeccable accuracy and cultural nuance.
- Perform thorough proofreading and editing of translated content to ensure grammatical correctness, stylistic consistency, and adherence to client-specific guidelines and glossaries.
- Manage multiple translation projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and strict adherence to deadlines.
- Utilize Translation Memory (TM) and Terminology Management (TM) tools effectively to maintain consistency and efficiency across projects.
- Conduct linguistic quality assurance (LQA) on own translations and occasionally on those of peers.
- Communicate proactively with project managers regarding project status, potential challenges, and clarifications.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and data security protocols for all client information and project materials.
- Continuously enhance linguistic skills and subject matter expertise relevant to the projects undertaken.
Required Skills
- Native-level fluency in at least two languages (source and target)
- Proven experience with CAT (Computer-Assisted Translation) tools (e.g., Trados Studio, MemoQ, Wordfast)
- Exceptional command of grammar, syntax, and style in both source and target languages
- Strong research skills and ability to quickly grasp new subject matters
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities to meet tight deadlines
- High attention to detail and commitment to delivering error-free work
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Translation, Linguistics, or a related field
- Specialized knowledge in specific industries such as IT, Legal, Medical, or Marketing
- Certification from a recognized translation association (e.g., SATI, ATA)
- Experience with post-editing machine translation (PEMT)
- Familiarity with various content management systems (CMS)
