As a freelance tour guide, you will be the face of Jamaican hospitality, guiding small and large groups through various excursions, historical sites, natural wonders, and cultural landmarks. You will be responsible for providing engaging commentary, ensuring the safety and enjoyment of all participants, and managing logistics with professionalism and warmth. From the historical depths of Seville Great House to the serene beauty of Green Grotto Caves, or perhaps a culinary journey through local markets, every tour is an opportunity to craft a memorable adventure.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead engaging and informative tours for individuals and groups in and around Runaway Bay, St. Ann.
- Share in-depth knowledge of local history, culture, flora, fauna, and current events.
- Ensure the safety and comfort of all tour participants throughout the duration of the tour.
- Manage tour logistics, including scheduling, transportation coordination, and adherence to itineraries.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing guest inquiries and concerns professionally.
- Adapt tour content and pace to suit the interests and physical capabilities of diverse groups.
- Promote a positive and memorable experience for all guests, fostering genuine connections.
- Handle unexpected situations or emergencies calmly and efficiently.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
- Assist with collecting feedback and ensuring high satisfaction rates.
Required Skills
- Excellent communication and storytelling abilities in English
- In-depth knowledge of Jamaican history, culture, and geography, especially St. Ann parish
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Ability to manage groups effectively and maintain a positive atmosphere
- Punctuality and reliability
- Problem-solving skills and adaptability
- Valid Jamaican driver's license (if tour involves driving)
- First Aid/CPR certification or willingness to obtain
