Key Responsibilities
- Process incoming and outgoing freight shipments, including data entry and documentation.
- Prepare, verify, and maintain shipping documents such as bills of lading, customs forms, and manifests.
- Track and trace shipments, providing updates to clients and internal teams.
- Coordinate with carriers, customs brokers, and warehouses to ensure timely and compliant delivery.
- Resolve shipping discrepancies, damages, and delays efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding shipment status, inquiries, and issues.
- Ensure all logistics operations comply with relevant national and international regulations.
- Maintain organized and accurate records of all freight activities.
- Assist in invoice processing and verification related to freight charges.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize operational workflows and enhance customer satisfaction.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Freight Clerk or in a similar logistics administrative role.
- Strong understanding of shipping procedures, documentation, and industry regulations.
- Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate effectively in German and English, both written and verbal.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive attitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
