Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor international freight movements (sea, air, road) from booking to delivery.
- Manage all required documentation, including bills of lading, airway bills, customs declarations, and commercial invoices.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates, addressing inquiries, and resolving issues promptly.
- Liaise with carriers, customs brokers, warehouses, and other third parties to ensure smooth operations.
- Negotiate freight rates and service agreements with carriers to optimize cost and transit times.
- Ensure compliance with all international shipping regulations, customs procedures, and company policies.
- Track shipments, identify potential delays, and implement proactive solutions to mitigate disruptions.
- Process invoices, manage billing, and assist with financial reconciliation related to shipments.
- Maintain accurate records and update the logistics management system with real-time shipment information.
- Prepare reports on shipment status, performance metrics, and any operational challenges.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Freight Forwarding Coordinator or similar role in logistics.
- In-depth knowledge of international shipping regulations, customs procedures, and incoterms.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fluent in German and English.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with exceptional attention to detail.
- Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
- Problem-solving aptitude and the ability to make quick, informed decisions under pressure.

Preferred Qualifications
