Key Responsibilities
- Load and unload freight manually or using material handling equipment.
- Sort, stack, and organize goods in designated areas within the warehouse.
- Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against manifests and resolve discrepancies.
- Operate pallet jacks, hand trucks, and potentially forklifts safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Inspect freight for damage and report any issues promptly.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation as required.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to meet operational goals.
- Prepare outgoing shipments for transport, including wrapping and labeling.
Required Skills
- Physical stamina and strength to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs / 23 kg).
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
