Key Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming freight shipments for accuracy and potential damage.
- Assist in sorting, labeling, and storing goods in designated warehouse locations according to company procedures.
- Prepare outbound shipments, including accurate picking, meticulous packing, and efficient staging for loading.
- Safely and efficiently operate basic warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks and hand trucks (full training provided).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment at all times, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Assist with periodic inventory counts and stock rotation as required to ensure accurate records.
- Complete necessary documentation and records accurately and promptly for all cargo movements.
- Adhere strictly to all company policies, procedures, and relevant safety regulations.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth daily operational flow.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 25 kg regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in all tasks.
- Effective communication and strong teamwork skills.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills for reading labels and counting items.
