Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the loading and unloading of freight from trucks, containers, and other vehicles.
- Sort, stack, and organize cargo within the warehouse according to company guidelines.
- Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and damage, reporting discrepancies.
- Perform basic inventory checks and assist with stocktaking procedures.
- Safely operate manual and powered material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks) after receiving training.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Assist with basic documentation and record-keeping related to freight movement.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure operational efficiency.
