Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet and welcome all guests upon arrival and departure, ensuring a memorable first and last impression.
- Efficiently manage guest check-in and check-out processes, including registration, key allocation, and accurate billing.
- Handle all incoming calls, emails, and walk-in inquiries with professionalism and courtesy, providing accurate information about the property and local area.
- Process reservations, modifications, and cancellations, ensuring all details are captured correctly in the Property Management System (PMS).
- Act as a central point of contact, coordinating guest requests and services with housekeeping, concierge, F&B, and maintenance departments.
- Proactively resolve guest complaints and concerns to their satisfaction, escalating complex issues when necessary.
- Process payments, manage cash handling, and maintain accurate daily financial records.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk and lobby area.
- Promote and upsell hotel services and facilities to enhance the guest experience.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and security standards.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in a front desk or guest services role within the hospitality sector (minimum 1.5 years).
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English; additional languages are a strong asset.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and perform effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Competency in using Property Management Systems (PMS) and general office software.
- Problem-solving aptitude and a proactive approach to guest satisfaction.
Preferred Qualifications
- A diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or a related field.
- Fluency in Arabic, Hindi, or other languages commonly spoken in Dubai.
- Familiarity with Opera PMS or similar industry-standard software.
- Knowledge of local attractions, events, and culture in Dubai.
- Previous experience working in a multicultural environment.
