Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and service-oriented Front Desk Agent to join our dedicated hotel services team in the heart of Downtown Pasadena. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a pivotal role in shaping their experience from arrival to departure. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and confirm reservations, cancellations, and modifications using the property management system.
  • Address guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction.
  • Provide comprehensive information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions in Downtown Pasadena.
  • Handle cash, credit card, and other payment transactions, maintaining a balanced cash drawer.
  • Answer and direct incoming calls with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Assist guests with luggage storage and transportation arrangements when needed.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting lobby and front desk area.
  • Collaborate effectively with other hotel departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
  • Resolve guest issues and escalate complex problems to management as necessary.
  • Perform night audit duties as required, ensuring all daily transactions are recorded accurately.

Required Skills

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a front desk or customer service role, preferably in hospitality.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in using property management systems (e.g., Opera, Fosse, OnQ).
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask effectively.
  • A positive attitude and a passion for delivering outstanding guest service.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field.
