Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet and welcome all guests upon arrival and departure, ensuring a positive first and last impression.
- Efficiently perform guest check-ins and check-outs, accurately processing all necessary documentation and payments.
- Manage room reservations, modifications, and cancellations through our Property Management System (PMS).
- Answer and direct incoming calls and emails promptly and professionally, providing information and assistance.
- Address guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with empathy and efficiency, striving for quick and satisfactory resolutions.
- Provide comprehensive information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions in Le Caudan Waterfront and beyond.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk area at all times.
- Handle cash and credit card transactions, ensuring accuracy and adherence to financial procedures.
- Coordinate effectively with housekeeping, concierge, and other departments to ensure seamless guest services.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of hotel occupancy, special events, and promotions.
- Act as a brand ambassador, upholding the hotel’s standards of service and hospitality.
Required Skills
- Proven experience (minimum 1 year) in a front desk or customer service role, preferably within the hospitality sector.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English and French.
- Proficiency in using Property Management Systems (PMS) and standard office software.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to guest satisfaction.
- Professional demeanor, strong work ethic, and a positive, approachable attitude.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, or a related field.
- Fluency in additional languages (e.g., German, Mandarin, Hindi).
- Experience with Opera PMS or a similar leading hotel software.
