Key Responsibilities
- Carefully pick ripe fruits and vegetables by hand according to quality standards and ripeness indicators.
- Sort and pack harvested produce into designated containers, ensuring minimal damage and optimal presentation.
- Operate and maintain basic picking equipment and tools, such as ladders, baskets, and small carts.
- Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and hygiene guidelines, including food safety protocols.
- Work collaboratively and efficiently with a diverse team to meet daily harvest targets.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored.
- Report any issues concerning crop quality, equipment malfunctions, or workplace safety to supervisors promptly.
Required Skills
