Job Description

Career.zycto is excited to offer a unique opportunity for dedicated individuals to join Canada’s thriving agricultural industry as a Fruit Picker. This role comes with **visa sponsorship**, making it an ideal pathway for international candidates eager to build a new life and career in Edmonton, Alberta. As a Fruit Picker, you will play a crucial role in bringing fresh produce from farm to table, contributing directly to the local economy and food security.

This is a full-time, seasonal position that requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality. You will be working outdoors in various weather conditions, primarily on farms surrounding the Edmonton metropolitan area. Your day-to-day will involve harvesting a variety of fruits using specific techniques to ensure minimal damage and optimal ripeness. We are looking for individuals who are reliable, hardworking, and passionate about contributing to a sustainable food system.

This vital position is key to ensuring the freshness and availability of locally grown produce for communities across Alberta. You will be part of a dynamic team, often working alongside experienced farmhands and supervisors, fostering a collaborative spirit. The daily routine will vary with the seasons and types of crops, but will consistently demand a keen eye for detail and dexterity to pick fruits at their peak. From juicy berries to crisp apples, your work ensures that only the best quality produce reaches consumers.

Career.zycto, through its extensive network, partners with reputable farms that prioritize worker safety and fair labour practices. We understand the significant commitment involved in relocating for work, which is why our visa sponsorship program is designed to simplify your journey, offering guidance and support every step of the way. This includes assistance with necessary documentation, understanding local regulations, and connecting you with resources for settling in Edmonton. The physically demanding nature of this role is balanced by the immense satisfaction of seeing the fruits of your labour (literally!) and contributing to a sector that truly impacts lives. If you possess a strong work ethic, an adaptable spirit, and are excited by the prospect of an outdoor, hands-on role with the added benefit of Canadian residency support, your journey begins here. Embrace the opportunity to pick more than just fruit – pick a new life in Canada.
