Job Description

Are you passionate about contributing to the local food supply and enjoy working outdoors? Career.zycto is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Fruit Picking Laborers to join our team for the upcoming harvest season in Fabreville, Laval. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who thrive in a physically active role, enjoy fresh air, and take pride in their hard work, knowing their efforts directly impact community well-being. As a Fruit Picking Laborer, you will be an essential part of bringing high-quality, delicious fruits from the field to our community’s tables and markets.

Your primary responsibility will involve the meticulous, hand-harvesting of various delicate fruits, ensuring each piece meets strict quality standards for ripeness, size, and condition. This role demands not only excellent manual dexterity but also a keen eye for detail and the ability to work efficiently and carefully to minimize damage to both the produce and the valuable plants themselves. You will be working primarily outdoors, exposed to diverse weather conditions, from warm, sunny days to cooler, potentially damp temperatures, so a resilient spirit and appropriate seasonal attire are absolutely essential. Our operation prioritizes a safe working environment and fosters strong teamwork, providing a supportive atmosphere where every individual’s contribution is valued in achieving a successful harvest. We are specifically looking for individuals who are inherently reliable, consistently punctual, and deeply committed to working collaboratively with their peers to meet daily picking and sorting targets. If you’re ready to embrace the unique challenges and immense rewards of agricultural work, a sector vital to our economy, we encourage you to apply today to become a valued member of our seasonal workforce. This role is ideal for those seeking meaningful temporary employment, students on summer break looking for active outdoor work, or anyone aspiring to make a tangible difference in the local food system.

We are committed to your success and will provide comprehensive, on-site training on effective picking techniques, rigorous quality control protocols, and all necessary safety procedures, ensuring you are thoroughly equipped for the job. While previous experience in similar agricultural settings is certainly a plus, it is by no means mandatory; we enthusiastically welcome all motivated applicants eager to learn, develop new skills, and grow within the dynamic agricultural sector. Join us in Fabreville, Laval, and play a crucial role in gathering the bounty of the season, ensuring fresh produce reaches families across Quebec!
