Job Description

Career.zycto is seeking a dedicated and energetic Fuel Station Attendant to join our dynamic team on a full-time basis in Chevron Drive, Lekki. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about providing excellent customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our fuel stations. As a Fuel Station Attendant, you will be the face of our brand, interacting directly with customers and playing a crucial role in their daily experience.

Your primary responsibility will involve safely dispensing fuel to a variety of vehicles while adhering strictly to all safety regulations and company policies. Beyond just pumping fuel, you will be expected to provide a friendly and efficient service, assisting customers with their needs, answering questions about products and services, and maintaining a welcoming environment. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, especially when handling cash and processing electronic payments, ensuring accuracy in all transactions. You will be instrumental in reconciling daily sales and maintaining proper records.

Beyond customer interactions, you will also contribute significantly to the upkeep and cleanliness of the station premises. This includes regular cleaning of the pump area, ensuring spills are promptly and safely addressed, and generally keeping the station tidy and presentable. You will assist with monitoring fuel levels, reporting any discrepancies or maintenance needs, and ensuring all equipment is functioning optimally. Integrity and honesty are paramount in this role, as you will be entrusted with company assets and customer payments. Key Responsibilities

  • Safely and accurately dispense fuel to customers' vehicles.
  • Process cash, card, and other forms of payment efficiently and accurately.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, assisting with inquiries and promoting available products.
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the fuel pump area and station surroundings.
  • Monitor fuel levels and report any shortages or discrepancies.
  • Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Assist with basic inventory checks for convenience store items if applicable.
  • Operate Point-of-Sale (POS) systems for sales transactions.
  • Handle customer complaints professionally and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Contribute to a positive and respectful team environment.
