Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them promptly with fuel dispensing, adhering strictly to all safety protocols and company guidelines.
- Accurately process cash, card, and mobile money payments, ensuring all transactions are handled with integrity and recorded correctly.
- Perform basic courtesy checks on vehicles, such as oil, water, and tire pressure, upon customer request, providing excellent added value service.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the fuel pumps, forecourt, convenience store entrance, and other designated operational areas.
- Assist with stocking, arranging, and merchandising convenience store items as directed by station management, ensuring shelves are always well-presented.
- Monitor fuel levels, report any discrepancies, technical issues, or equipment malfunctions to station management immediately.
- Provide clear and concise information to customers regarding current promotions, available services, and Engen's loyalty programs.
- Adhere strictly to all company policies, safety regulations, environmental guidelines, and local laws.
- Collaborate effectively and respectfully with all team members to ensure seamless shift handovers and a consistently positive customer experience.
- Handle customer inquiries and minor complaints professionally, escalating complex issues to the appropriate supervisor.
Required Skills
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in Portuguese, which is essential for clear customer interaction and understanding instructions.
- Basic numeracy skills for accurate cash handling, calculations, and transaction processing.
- Strong customer service orientation, demonstrating a friendly, approachable, and helpful attitude at all times.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, walk around the forecourt, and perform light lifting as required.
- Reliable, punctual, and possessing a strong sense of responsibility and accountability.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including shifts on weekends, public holidays, and potentially evenings/nights.
- Eagerness to learn new tasks, procedures, and adapt quickly to a fast-paced work environment.
- Ability to follow instructions meticulously and work independently or as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
